Economic Development Manager

Reports to: Vice President of Economic Development 
Organization: Putnam County Chamber of Commerce, Putnam County, Florida 

Overview: The Putnam County Chamber of Commerce is seeking an Economic Development Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in economic development, the construction/development industry, or a related field. The Economic Development Manager will be responsible for supporting production and various initiatives. The Economic Development Manager will report to the Vice President of Economic Development and work under the direction of the President of the Chamber. This role requires excellent computer proficiency, particularly in Microsoft Office Suite. Adobe Suite proficiency is strongly preferred. 

Key Responsibilities:
Production Support: Assist with production-related tasks to support various Chamber initiatives.
Data Entry and Analysis: Perform accurate data entry and conduct comprehensive data analysis.
Presentation Creation: Develop and produce presentations for meetings and events.
Meeting Agendas: Create and manage meeting agendas.
Marketing Support: Collaborate on marketing efforts to promote Chamber programs and initiatives.
Event Management: Provide support for event planning, coordination, and production.
Investor Relations: Assist in maintaining and strengthening investor relations. 
Website Management: Complete website entries and updates, ensuring content is current and relevant.
RFI Responses: Prepare technical inputs for RFI responses, leveraging economic development experience.
Business Retention and Expansion: Conduct industry visits to support business retention and expansion efforts.
Grant Research and Applications: Identify grant opportunities and prepare compelling grant applications.

Qualifications:
Presentation Skills: Experience creating and producing professional presentations.
Economic Development Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in economic development or related field.
Technical Proficiency: Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; Adobe Suite preferred.
Data Skills: Ability to perform accurate data entry and comprehensive data analysis.
Event Management: Proven ability to support event planning and production.
Marketing Support: Familiarity with marketing strategies and tools.
Investor Relations: Experience in supporting investor relations.
Website Management: Competency in managing website content and updates.
Grant Research and Applications: Skilled in researching grant opportunities and preparing applications.
