Description
Calling all nature lovers and food enthusiasts! Don’t miss your chance to attend “Chef’s 300,” an exclusive fundraiser at Dunns Creek State Park on Saturday, November 2, 2024, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. This special event offers a full day of outdoor adventure, gourmet dining, and live music, all while supporting a great cause. Tickets are limited and priced at just $30 per person, so act fast to secure your spot!
Sponsored by the Friends of Dunns Creek State Park, “Chef’s 300” will raise funds for a vital project: the purchase of a 4-seater Utility Task Vehicle (UTV) to help Friends and volunteers enhance visitor experiences and preserve the park’s stunning 6,300 acres of natural beauty. This vehicle will play a key role in providing guided tours and in transporting volunteers to more remote areas of the park and in assisting with logistics and safety during nature-based events.
The day will feature an exciting lineup of activities, including Pontoon Boat Tours, Tram Tours, and scenic hiking trails. At 11:30 a.m., attendees will be treated to a gourmet lunch prepared by professional chefs from Bon Voisin Chef offering a culinary experience to remember. Adding to the atmosphere will be live music and nature-based activities led by master naturalists from Florida Naturalist Experience and other experts.
“This is a fantastic opportunity to enjoy the best of what Dunns Creek has to offer, all while supporting our mission to protect and promote this incredible park,” said Joy Mitchell, President of the Friends of Dunns Creek State Park. “Your participation in ‘Chef’s 300’ will help us inspire more people to connect with nature and assist in conserving the park’s natural and cultural treasures.”
