About Us
I have been a lawyer in Florida for almost 34 years, including the past 31 years in Putnam County. In April, 2002, I left the Putnam County State Attorney's Office as Deputy Division Chief and opened my own law office in Palatka.
Many of you know my trial experience as a prosecutor in Putnam County for over eight years. Some of you may know me from the six years as an Assistant Public Defender in Putnam County before I became a prosecutor. On both sides, I tried many high-profile cases, including murder cases. One such murder case, the John Silva case, was televised on Court TV.
In all, I have tried approximately 300 criminal jury trials during my time as both a defense attorney and a prosecutor. Also, I have tried many more divorce, custody and injunction trials since going into private practice in 2002.
My private practice has grown tremendously in the past sixteen years. Much of our business comes from word-of-mouth referrals, particularly from former clients. It also helps to be located across from the courthouse.
